New registration applications are charged per trademark, per class. The standard price includes up to ten goods or services in each class; each additional item in that class costs USD 10. The allowance applies independently to each class.
Subsequent services, including renewal, changes, assignment and transfer, are charged per trademark, per class. A single registration number covering several classes is charged separately for each class handled. These services do not add charges based on the number of goods or services.
We normally submit each class as a separate application with its own application number. When entering an existing multi-class registration number, choose the number of classes being handled, not the number of goods. Review the class count and total before submitting.
A grace-period surcharge is relevant only to a late renewal. Resending our archived electronic registration certificate for a registration handled by MY CNTM is free; a formal CNIPA reissue is a separate paid service. Your portal order or written quotation defines the agreed scope and total.
